WNCC President Carmen Simone tours the Sidney campus with campus director Paula Abbott. Simone was appointed as the new college president in November 2019 and officially took on her new duties this month.
Almost to the day two months ago, the Western Community College Area Board of Governors chose Dr. Carmen Simone as the sixth president of Western Nebraska Community College. On Friday, Jan. 17, she visited the Sidney campus, meeting with staff and students and visiting the aviation program.
"I am so grateful to be here," Simone said. "You can tell when you're at the right place."
