Sidney’s Red Raider Cross Country team earned a first week ranking in Class C of fourth for the boys, and sixth for the girls squad.

The junior varsity runners competed at the Gering Invite on Sept. 4th with freshman Brenden Shepard leading the Sidney boys with a 15th place finish with a time of 22:33.85. Sophomore Austin Glanz followed in 21st place at 22:53.11, and senior Taygan Gray earned 25th place with a time of 24:53.92.

For the girls, senior Marissa Borchard earned seventh place with a 28:46.92 time and freshman Isabell Neve came in eighth place with a time of 28:58.57. Freshman...
