Robert L. 'Bob' Jones

Robert L. “Bob” Jones, age 68, of Sidney, NE passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in Sidney. A Celebration of Life Service with family present will be held from 4-6:00 P.M. Thursday, October 15, at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel in Sidney. Cremation has taken place. No formal burial services are planned. Robert Lee Jones, the son of Cecil Vallaninghan and Phyllis Dorthea (Kope) Jones was born on February 25, 1952 in Seattle, WA. Bob served his country in the United States Navy as a printer from 1971 to 1975. Bob’s passions were fishing, playing pool, darts, gardening and hunting. He will be remembered as a friendly bartender, handyman, painter and property manager.

Bob is survived by his wife, Vicki; son, Kevin Jones and fiancé Katrina; daughters Tiffani Jones-Eldefondso, Tammy Evans, Megan Douglas and husband Mike, Jeanine Rogers and husband Brett and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
