Sidney’s Lady Raider Volleyball team improved to 22-and-5 on the year when the swept the visiting Chadron Lady Cardinals in three sets last Tuesday Oct. 13. All three sets were competitive, but Sidney came out on top in all three, 25-to-22, 25-to-23and 25-to-21 for the 3-to-0 match victory.
Senior Karly Sylvester had 11 kills to lead the offense, followed by juniors Alecca Campbell and Emilee Wieser with seven kills each. Senior Ireland Smelley had two service aces while senior Reagan Biesecker had 21 assists in the victory.
