Another Undefeated Season for SMS Volleyball

Last year, Sidney Middle School’s 7th Grade Volleyball team went undefeated and didn’t lose a set the entire season. A year later, the girls did it again with another perfect season for the SMS 8th Grade Volleyball team.

The perfect season raises Lady Raider Head Coach Jack Thorpe’s 15 year record to 166-12.

Starting with a victory over Gering, the team then won the Sidney Invitational with straight set victories over Scottsbluff, Chadron and Gering. The Lady Raiders then defeated Kimball and won the Alliance Invitational with victories over Gordon-Rushville, Mitchell and Gering again...
