Raiders Down Gering

Sidney’s Red Raider Basketball teams had a busy weekend hosting Gering on Friday night then Scottsbluff on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Raiders started the action Friday with the Gering Lady Bulldogs, and the visitors were looking to salvage a win in the season series, already dropping the first two meetings of the teams earlier in the campaign. Sidney started well, hitting shots and playing good defense until the Lady Bulldogs’ speedy guards started scoring and connecting from long range and passed by Sidney.
