Swim teams from all around the panhandle area descended upon sidney on Saturday for the annual swimming competition, and perfect weather on the day made the event an enjoyable success for the swimmers and their families.

The meet also had the Brady Sweetser Memorial Relay in honor of Sweetser, who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Lincoln last summer. Sweetser was a popular and active member of the Sidney Stingray Swim Club.
