Lady Warriors Go 4-3 During Active Week

Leyton's Lady Warrior Volleyball team had seven matches over the last week, and won four during the stretch to put their record at 13-and-10 going into the final stretch of the season. The action started Tuesday, September 28, when the Lady Warriors hosted the powerful Bridgeport Lady Bulldogs in Dalton. The Lady Warriors were overpowered by the visitors, but did manage to win a set against one of the area's premier teams, falling by a 3-to-1 set tally. Sophomore Trinity Beutler had 10 kills and senior Cortney Holt had eight kills in the loss.
