Cory was born on November 4th, 1964 to the parents of Les and Cheri Glanz in Sidney, NE. Cory graduated high school from Sidney High in 1983 and went onto the South Dakota School of Mines for two years. He then transferred and graduated from the University of Kearney-Nebraska with a degree in computer science in 1987. After graduation, Cory moved back to Sidney and accepted his first job as a chemist at Pfizer for several years before working at Cabela’s for 16 years in IT. After retiring from Cabela’s, he then accepted a job with the Cheyenne County Sheriff’s Department as a correctional officer until his time of death.

Cory was known for his love of fishing and cooking, his work ethic, and the dad he was to his daughters; but the thing most people will remember about Cory is his sense of humor. His laugh and smile will be remembered by everyone who knew him.

Cory is survived by his daughters Kayla and husband Brad Beaty and Jessica Glanz and partner Emmanuel Osinowo; granddaughter Koralyn Osinowo; parents Les and Cheri Glanz; sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews Carrie Glanz, April Huaracha (Aubrey, Alex, Abram), Trent Glanz (Izaak, Conner, Sierra), Travis and Carrie Glanz (Cole, Austin), and very close friend Randy Baker.

Preceded in death by his grandmother Katherine Borgens, grandparents John & Opal Glanz, and brother-in-law Andrew Huaracha.
