Peetz Bulldog Boys Place Sixth At Holyoke Invite

Peetz's Bulldog Track and Field teams traveled to Holyoke on Saturday to compete at the Holyoke Invite, with 11 teams competing in the girls division and 12 teams competing in the boys division. At the end of the day, the boys took sixth place with 36 overall points while the girls finished 11th with 6 overall points.

For the boys squad, medal winners included sophomore Noah Naegele in third place and sophomore Chance Segelke in sixth place in the 400 Meters, freshman Lyle Schumacher in fourth place in the 1600 Meters, and junior Mark Steeger winning the 3200 Meters in 12:21.28. The 4X100 Relay-Throwers team placed third and the 4X800 Meter Relay team (Naegele, Schumacher, Segelke, Steeger) took first place with a time of 9:33.26.

For the Peetz girls, sophomore Sadie Fehringer placed fourth in the Triple Jump with a distance of 29' 02.75”.

Overall for the girls, the Holyoke team took top honors with 120.5 points, followed by Wray with 114 and Sedgwick County with 96. For the boys, Wray took first with 129 points, followed by Holyoke with 113 and Sedgwick County with 100.
