She was born to Allen and Dorothy Williams on September 24, 1949 at St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, NE. She graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1967. Hard work was instilled into Wanda by her parents and she carried that on to her children.

In her younger years Wanda worked at the 3-D amunitions plant and LaBrie meat packing in Donaphan, NE. In 1977 the family moved to Chappell and owned Dana Packing Co. until 1986.  After that Wanda worked at Starlight Lanes, Toot’s Bar & Grill and was a staple at Chappell Super Foods in the meat department. Wanda enjoyed playing softball and bowling when she was younger.  She loved caring for her parents, canning, classic country music, scrapbooking, reading, and crossword puzzles.  Wanda was an amazing mother and an even better grandma. She so loved her grandkids and enjoyed being around them. Wanda may have been a tiny lady, but she had a large presence in the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Wanda is survived by her partner, Ron Timm of Chappell; daughter, Michelle and husband Michael Hickenbottom of Amarillo, TX; son, Marc and wife Julie Joyce of Lincoln, NE; daughter, Barb and husband Anthony Meyers of Lincoln, NE; sister, Betty and husband Steve Juedeman of Greeley, CO; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Dorothy Williams; son, Robert Dana; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Hickenbottom; sister, Mary Wiseman; and brother-in-law, Cliff Wiseman.
