Potter-Dix Rolls Over Sioux County, 63-0

Potter-Dix's Coyote Football team continued their unbeaten season by routing the Sioux County Warriors 63-to-0 in Harrison on Friday.

It was another outstanding offensive and defensive performance by the Coyotes, who jumped out to a 13-to-0 lead at he end of the first period, then piled on another 30 points in the second quarter to open a 43-to-0 lead at the half and initiate a running clock.

The Potter-Dix defense held Sioux County to just 66 yards, on 26 yards rushing and 40 yards passing and only three first downs in the contest. Junior Brayden Kasten went 8-for-13 in the air for 80 yards and two touchdowns while senior Luke Kasten rushed nine times for 145 yards and five touchdowns.

Junior Caden McConnell and senior Alex Anton each had a touchdown reception in the win. Luke Kasten and junior Jaxson Buettenback each had nine tackles and two sacks, and Anton, freshman Dylan Tabor and senior James Pease each had an interception in the victory.

Potter-Dix moves to 4-and-0 on the year, and next hosts the 1-and-2 Banner county Wildcats on Friday at Combs Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
