Lodgepole Community Fund Makes Grant to Lodgepole Depot Museum

LODGEPOLE – The Lodgepole Community Fund (LCF) has granted $500 to the Lodgepole Depot Museum to help cover the cost of repair work and paint for the outside of the museum. The estimated project cost is $7,000 and none of the work will begin until all funding is secured.

LCF was formed in 2019 to help preserve Lodgepole’s rich history and create a brighter future for our community. The committee works to achieve this by promoting charitable giving, growing the endowment (community savings account) and awarding grants to local causes and projects that address the emerging needs and opportunities in our community. As the endowment grows more money will be granted to Lodgepole.

If you wish to apply for a grant or if you wish to find out more information about how you can give back to LCF, please contact Chairperson Gwen Devie at [email protected] or any of the Fund Advisory Committee members: Bill Taylor, Janet Fox, Gordy Wilkins, Glenda Shellhorn, Laurie Abrams, Terry Christensen, Maryann Dickinson, Dana Hill, Linda Markel and Trinity Oliverius.
