Sidney’s Red Raider Cross Country team traveled to Scottsbluff on Friday, September 30 for the Western Conference Cross Country Meet, and the girl’s team placed fourth and the boy’s team placed third at the end of the competition.

Sophomore Noah Canas led the boys’ squad with a ninth place finish at 18:43.06, while junior Talissa Tanquary led the girls with a second place finish at 20:01.00.

Chadron won the girls’ team competition while Gering won for the boys.
