Security First Insurance kicked off the "Tree of Light" campaign on November 21. For 24 years, First Security has implemented the "Tree of Light" program for seniors at Sidney Regional Medical Center in the Extended Care unit. Resident let volunteers know what they want and need for Holiday Season, and these requests are written out on the back of paper "lights" which are hung from the Christmas Tree in the First Security lobby. Patrons can then pick a "light" and then shop for a few items for a senior. Each person that participates has their name entered into a drawing to win one of two g...
