UPDATE: Changes For Annual "Holidays at Hickory Square" Neccessary Due to Weather; Parade Time and Route Altered

Because of a high-wind advisory, the schedule of events for the Holidays at Hickory Square has changed. The chili-feed scheduled for Friday, December 2 has been cancelled and the parade has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 3rd beginning at 5:30pm. Please note, the parade route has been changed and will now be along Jackson Street, beginning at 14th, ending at 7th.

On Friday, December 2nd:

•Photos with Santa and his reindeer will be behind Charlotte and Emerson on 934 Illinois Street from 3pm-6pm;

• There will be fire-pits and roasted hot dogs at Pedalers corner;

The free Candlelight Tours at Fort Sidney/Commander's Home will take place from 5pm – 8pm.

On Saturday, December 3rd

• The free Candlelight Tours at Fort Sidney/Commander's Home will take continue from 1pm – 4pm

• Visit with Santa from 3pm-5pm;

• Lighting of the Tree at 5pm;

• Parade of Lights at 5:30pm. Again, the the parade route has been changed and will now be along Jackson Street, beginning at 14th, ending at 7th.
