Peetz's Bulldog Boys Basketball team opened their season with a loss at the annual Carlisle Classic Tournament to eventual winner Caliche, 58-to-42. The Bulldogs were unable to come back from a big Buffalo early lead. Trailing 21-to-6 after the first period and then 39-to-14 at the halftime break, Peetz rallied in the second half, outscoring the Buffaloes 28-to-19, but it was not enough to overcome the early deficit and Peetz came up short.
