Sidney's Izabelle Neve during recent action. In their second season, the Lady Raider wrestlers are emerging as a top team in the panhandle.
Sidney's Red Raider Wrestling teams traveled for the Mitchell Invite on Friday, and both the boys and girls teams battled hard and earned third place overall in the team results. For the boys, outstanding results included Zech Roggasch taking first place at 160 lbs. And Landon Hanes placing first at 285 lbs.
Matthew Cabbage placed second at 170 lbs and Patrick McCartney place second at 182 lbs. Jeremiah Roggasch placed third at 195 lbs, giving Sidney 81 points and a third place finish behind Chadron and winner Mitchell.
