Delta Dawn When the Light Comes On: Week Fifteen

"Come unto Me, all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest, for I am meek (humble) and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your soul, for My burden is easy and My yoke is light." Matthew 11:28-30.

Meekness: "Yielding personal rights and expectations with a desire to serve; to be a Mediator who is deeply loyal and compassionate; analyzing the benefits and problems of a particular set of circumstances." In the Old Testament, this 'meekest of men' was Moses. His most memorable, celebrated service is in the Passover.

Moses learned a Prophet would arise much like himself, Deuteronomy 18:15, 18. Father took him to Mount Nebo to show him, in a vision, all of the promised land that he would never enter. Did Moses realize that 2000 years later, the Passover Lamb would be a Man named Jesus? Could Moses conceive, only 50 days later, as he brought the tablets of Law (10 Commandments) written by the finger of God, that on the exact day, 2000 years hence, Pentecost would bring Holy Spirit to write God's laws on hearts of flesh, and take up residence within (rather than upon) men? If the blood of birds, bulls and goats only covered up Man's sins for one year, could Jesus' Blood destroy forever, any handwriting against Man's iniquity, sin, sickness, disease, poverty or lack?

O, YES! Beloved, our spirits are designed to love as He loves, Spirit to spirit! Isaiah 53; Colossians 2:14

Three thousand men died for acts of treason, that first day of the Law. To the day, 2000 years later, 3000 souls were made alive in Jesus, God's Anointed Messiah! Exodus 32:28; Acts 2:41 "The meek (humble) shall increase their joy in the Lord; the poor shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel." Isaiah 29: 19

After feeding some 20,000 people with five small crackers and a couple of tiny fish, Jesus makes public His assignment at a sedar meal in John 6, When they asked, "What shall we do that we may do the works of God?" Jesus said, "This is the work of God, that you BELIEVE in Him whom He sent." Vss. 28, 29. Spiritual maturity understands Him He sent was Jesus, Himself! Jesus said, "No one knows (is spiritually intimate with) the Father except the Son and no one knows (is spiritually intimate with) the Son, except the Father." Holy Spirit reveals this Divine Heart-to-heart, Spirit-to-spirit relationship with a Mighty God we call "Abba. Father". Galatians 4:6; 5:22, 23 Jesus has made us children of Jehovah!

John 6:35 forward: "I am the bread of Life, for I have come down from Heaven to do the will of Him Who sent Me. Most assuredly I say, he who believes on Me has everlasting life. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day, for My flesh is food, indeed, and My Blood is drink, indeed. Lo, he who eats My flesh and drinks My blood will live forever."

He is risen, indeed!! "I have come that you might have Life more abundantly and to undo the devil's work!" John 10:10, I John 3:8
