Raiders Compete At Dutch Zorn Track Invite

Boys Finish Sixth, Girls Seventh

Sidney's Red Raider Track & Field teams traveled to Gothenburg on April 13 to compete in the annual Dutch Zorn Invite, and the boy's team ended with a sixth place finish and a score of 46, and the girls team placed seventh, with a score of 42.

There were many outstanding performances by the Red Raider boys, with junior Isak Doty placing second in the 100 Meters and 400 Meters. Senior Jacob Dowse placed third in the 400 Meters, and dominating in the High Jump, clearing 6'-3" to take first place. Senior Cam Leeling placed second in the Long Jump and fifth in the High Jump. Senior Koleman Kaiser placed fourth in the 300 Meter Hurdles and seventh in the 110 Meter Hurdles.

For the girls, junior Chloe Ahrens had a first-place finish in the 100 Meter Hurdles at 15.28 and also placed third in the 300 Meter Hurdles. Junior Talissa Tanquary placed fourth in the 400 Meters. Junior Karsyn Leeling placed second in the High Jump, second in the Long Jump and fourth in Triple Jump.
