Creek Valley senior Emily Marin signed her commitment letter to attend Chadron State College, and participate on the Cheer Team in the Fall, on Wednesday, May 3. Family and friends celebrated the event at Creek Valley High School as Marin took the next step in furthering her education to become a teacher focused on Middle Education. Marin's favorite subject at Creek Valley was creative writing.

She decided on Chadron State College due to the familiarity with the campus and facilities from the many trips she had taken to Chadron State College during her high school years for numerous school events and activities.

"I'm really excited about going to Chadron State and continuing my education. I'm going to miss my friends and many of the teachers here, but I'm sure I'll be back to visit while in college and stay in touch," she said.
