Annual festival looking to be bigger and better than ever

Sidney Gold Rush Days to fill Legion Park with fun and activities for the whole family June 9th, 10th, 11th

Get set for a busy weekend as Gold Rush Days sets up camp to both educate and entertain festival-goers June 9th, 10th and 11th..

The festival starts Friday, June 9th at 5pm with a flag ceremony and the National Anthem sang by Kelsey Arrington. An entire evening of entertainment continues until 9pm.

Saturday, June 10, will be packed with entertainment and history relived as Gold Rush Days gets busy with live music, many craft vendors and food vendors and a 5k walk/run. Throughout the weekend, visitors will have the opportunity to watch a game of old time cricket baseball, old west gunfights, native American Indian dancers, a quick draw demonstration and visit with Buffalo Bill & Annie Oakley. There will be mountain men, blacksmithing, woodworking, a chance to meet actor Rex Rideout from the movie ‘Cowboys and Aliens’, and multiple drawings for free prizes. The kiddos will stay entertained with storys, reenactments, free wagon rides, train rides, crafts & face painting and more.
