WALK OFF: Sidney's Reid Ficus comes through again for the Sidney Post 17 Junior team, clearing the bases with a triple and invoking the mercy rule to end the game against Ogallala on June 14. The Sidney boys had a monster second inning, plating 12 runs and taking a 13-2 lead. Fiscus' triple with the bases loaded added three more runs, and closed the game out to give Sidney the win.

It was another week of weather cancelling and postponing games as rain and lightning covered the area for most of the past week.
