Casey Kantor of The Rock team blasts a two-RBI double in the first inning of the championship game against Haupt Landscaping. The fast start was all the Rock had as Haupt exploded for 21 runs in the 21-to-4 victory in the Championship game.

It was a season of fun, and a season of rain outs, but all went well over the past week as the Division I and Division II Co-Ed Softball leagues held their playoffs and championship games. In Division II, the Bad New Bears beat Creekside 16-to-3 to earn their place in the Championship game.

The MashUp team beat the Dalton Dingers in walk off fashion in the bottom of the 7th inning, 8-to-7.

The Creekside team got a second chance when they defeated the MashUp team to advance to the Championship game against the Bad New Bears. Unfortunately, it was "Bad News For Creekside" as they lost again to the Bears team, that took the Division II championship.

In Division I, it was The Rock team facing off with Haupt Landscaping in the Championship game, and after some first inning controversy involving the Rock team not having enough female players in the outfield, play resumed. The Rock team was able to get four runs early on, but the Haupt Landscaping team showed why they were the number one team, and exploded for 21 runs, ending the game 21-to-4 and taking the Division I title. It was a successful season despite the weather concerns, and all involved had a great time playing and relaxing with co-workers and teammates.
