Eleanor L. Einspahr

Eleanor L. Einspahr, age 84, formerly of Sidney, NE passed away in Scottsbluff, NE on Monday, October 30, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sidney, NE with Pastor Leon "Bud" Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery in Sidney, NE. Services will be livestreamed on the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel Facebook page and recorded for later viewing on our website. A full obituary will be published when available.

Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Thursday from 1-6:00 P.M. to leave condolences for the family.

Eleanor was born August 3, 1939 in Denver, CO to Helen & Herman Reiners.  Eleanor grew up in Englewood, CO and married Robert "Bob" Keane in 1958.   Her first son, Marc Keane, was born 2 years later (1960) in Littleton, CO.  They soon moved to Southern California where their second son Pat Keane was born (1968).   In 1970 she moved back to Littleton, CO and married Pastor Robert "Bob" Einspahr.  In 1975, Bob was called to serve at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sidney, NE where Eleanor served as church secretary and other roles for many years.  Eleanor also served the community with her passion to help people heal in many ways when she built "The Dove's Pantry", a natural health and spiritual gift store.  Eleanor also served the community by volunteering on the Boot Hill Preservation Committee.  They worked hard to restore and preserve Sidney's rich history. 

 Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, father, mother and her 3 siblings Leonard "Lenny" Reiners, Mildred "Mill" Schuricht, and Irene Jungck. 

 Immediate survivors include son Marc Keane, son Pat Keane and his wife Sharrell "Tami" Keane.  Grandchildren Clay Keane, Sean Keane, Brenner Keane and his wife Leslie Keane, and Jenna Keane.  Great granddaughter Adalynn Keane.
