SIDNEY- On Saturday, November 11th, the Veteran's Day Annual Bean Feed was held at the Elks Lodge in Sidney. The event was sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 610, American Legion Post 17, and Disabled American Veterans chapter 40. The bean feed was free and open to the public and a variety of bean soups, corn bread, macaroni and cheese, and desserts were served. "It's really nice any time that any veterans can have the opportunity to get together, especially on this day" said Marine Corp veteran, Whitney Whatley.
