Leyton senior Sydney Fortune sends the ball over the net during the Lady Warriors' matchup with Potter-Dix.
POTTER-- Leyton's Lady Warrior Volleyball team started their season strong with two convincing straight-set match wins over Minatare and Potter-Dix in Potter on Thursday, August 29. Leyton Head Coach Natasha Haupt's girls had a very productive summer with camps and team practices, and the Lady Warriors again look to be a force in D2-11.
Leyton opened against Minatare, and had little trouble against the Lady Indians, taking the first set 25-to-13 and the second set 25-to-8. Potter-Dix was also able to defeat Minatare in straight sets, 25-to-14 and 25-to-12. The highlight of the night was the Po...
