Veterans and their families start to fill up the Elks Lodge in Sidney right after the doors opened for the annual Veterans Bean Feed.
SIDNEY--Another beloved Sidney tradition took place on Veteran's Day: the annual Bean Feed at Sidney Elks Lodge #1894. The free meal drew a big group of veterans and their families who get to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal and visit with other veterans and neighbors.
Cheyenne County Veteran's Services Coordinator Fred Wiedeburg said, "This is such a great event every year, and it takes a lot of people to pull it off.
