Department of Nebraska Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Clara Barton Tent #29, President Doris Steele presented the United States Flag along with a labeled pole to Nebraska State Veterans Cemetery Administrator Allen Pannell for the Avenue of Flags remembering veterans. Left, Harold Steele, a World War II Veteran and Veterans State Cemetery Foundation member, Doris Steele, Allen Pannell, Jerry Steele, SharonAnn Louden, and LeeAnn Merrihew stand with the presentation of the flag and pole, along with the lap blanket the chapter made for services held in the committal area. Doris and Harold Steele along with their son Jerry Steele traveled from Potter, for the presentation.
