SIDNEY — Four girls and four boys advanced from Sunday’s Knights of Columbus local Council #1861 free-throw competition at Sidney Middle School.
Those making it out of Sunday’s competitions were:
9-year-old girls: Reece Stanley, Sidney
9-year-old boys: Jackson Trost, Sidney
10-year-old girls: Kenda Nesbitt, Sidney
10-year-old boys: Sam Hashman, Sidney
11-year-old girls: Taylor Dormann, Sidney
11-year-old boys: Copper Michelman, Lodgepole
12-year-old girls: Christina Gay, Sidney
12-year-old boys: Arik Doty, Sidney
A dozen boys and girls participated in the contest. Also taking part were Matthias Beyer, Mattie Johnson, Kai Spear and Felicity Beyer.
The KC District contest will be held in Kimball on Feb. 10.
