PLAN also:

•Lets you know if you’re on track for college

•Points out your academic strengths and areas you need to improve

•Helps you find careers that match your interests

•Connects you with more colleges interested in you

Juniors will take the ACT test. This spring, Sidney High School is one of eight school districts in Nebraska to test all juniors with the ACT. One of the outcomes of this ACT administration has been increased access and opportunity for low-income and underrepresented students. We are very pleased to be able to extend this opportunity to our students.

Why Take the ACT?

•The ACT test is accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the United States.

•The ACT is based on information you are learning in high school.

•The ACT is more than a test. The information you provide when you register, along with your ACT results, can help you plan for life after high school

•The ACT is a good value. The ACT offers both a college admissions test and a career planning component.
