What Jesus has done for you

We all have read the New Testament about the life of Jesus, His miraculous birth, his life as a young boy, where men of learning marveled at his insight and knowledge, but has anyone gone into the Old Testament to see Jesus.

I invite you to read and study Isaiah chapter 53, this is the center of the gospel we believe.

God Reveals to Isaiah the Messiah would be born and be tender root ( a child like no other child in the flesh) but the Messiah was not any ordinary child, the Messiah would be ordinary looking with no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, But he was and is the King of Kings, the creator of all things, The Messiah would be despised and rejected by a man of sorrows.

Isaiah mentions at least six times in this chapter that the Messiah came to take our sins on himself and to pay the price would and could not possibly pay.

The Messiah (Jesus) was crushed for us, was stricken for us, was oppressed and afflicted for us.

It was GOS’s will to crush him for us.

WHY

The world needed a perfect sacrifice, and who is more perfect than GOD

GOD came in the flesh (Immanuel) to do for his most perfect creation (Mankind), what they had no hope in doing for themselves.

He bore our sins, so we could be forgiven.

He took our stripes, so we did not have to and so we could be healed, not just physically, but spiritually, and mentally as well.

Again WHY

Because of his Love for you and I.

So we can have relationship with him in this life as well as for eternity.

GOD wants nothing but the best for you. The price has already been paid, all you have to do is receive your salvation, your freedom, and your healing.

Please take the time and study Isaiah 53 and learn about what GOD did just for you.

Respectfully Submitted,

Rev. Peter D. Morgan
