Junior Cheer Camp performs at halftime

The Sidney High School Cheerleaders hosted a Junior Cheer Camp for kids in grades Pre-K through 6th on Friday. There were about 90 participants. During the clinic after school, the cheerleaders taught each age group two cheers and a dance – plus some games and activities to make the experience memorable. That night, they performed during halftime of the Sidney-McCook football game at Weymouth Field. The money raised will go toward funding of the cheerleaders' uniforms and summer camp expenses.
