Sidney holds on in Wyoming

TORRINGTON, Wyo. – Sidney's fielded one of its youngest teams this year here Wednesday in a 4-1 loss that Coach Ray Witt reflected a good performance by his younger players.

Already fielding a young squad, Witt said "we were a younger team than normal."

Even so, Sidney had a couple of performances worth noting.

He pointed to Sam Hashman, who was one-for-one at the plate, and a nice sacrifice bunt from Grant Campbell.

Still growing in their game, the Juniors had five hits offensively, but three base running errors and eight fielding errors.
