Missoula Children's Theatre Auditions Monday

Auditions are being held for “The Frog Prince” by the Missoula Children’s Theatre. Auditions will take place 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at the Sidney High School Fine Arts Center. Rehearsals for older students will begin immediately after auditions.

Approximately 50 to 60 roles are available for local students. All students grades Kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Most students rehearse about four hours and 15 minutes each day, Monday through Friday.

The cast will spend the week rehearsing, then offer two matinees for local students, including students from neighboring school districts and homeschool students.

The performance of “The Frog Prince” is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Sidney High School Performing Arts Center.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre is sponsored by the High Plains Arts Council.
