Creek Valley's Class of 2019 show their diplomas on Saturday to the applause and well-wishes of friends and family.

On Saturday, Creek Valley High School celebrated the graduation of seven seniors in a ceremony attended by proud parents, family members, and well-wishers witnessing the seniors transition to graduates ready to take on the future. The graduates were led into the gymnasium by ushers Chloe Stupka and Zach Jackson while the Creek Valley high School Concert Band played "Pomp and Circumstance".

Seniors Garrett Sawyer and Chloe Mitlehner opened the ceremony with a prayer, then senior Cooper Michelman gave the Welcoming Address. Superintendent Patrick Ningen then gave the Opening Remarks commenting on the growth of the students throughout the years from children into young adults ready to make their marks on the world.

Salutatorian Cooper Reichman delivered his speech and was followed by Valedictorian Mackenzie Backus. Both speeches were filled with anecdotes about the speakers' fellow students and how the strength of the tight-knit community has prepared them well for their journeys through life. Creek Valley Schools Guidance Counselor Joe Kupper recognized the seniors and detailed the scholarships the graduates have received, totaling more than one hundred thousand dollars from various individuals, groups and organizations dedicated to furthering the education of the Creek Valley graduates.

Board of Education President Michael Hansen and Senior Class President Samuael Grabowski then presented the diplomas to the graduates, followed by the Senior Slideshow of pictures of all the graduates from infancy to young adulthood. After the Presentation of Flowers to the parents and families, senior Haylee Sitzman gave the closing remarks followed by the Recessional of the graduates to the song "Life is a Highway" by Rascal Flatts.
