Edith L. "Lucille" Flood of Sidney, NE passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in Sidney.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 28th at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel with Brother Don Mink officiating. Services will conclude at the Funeral Home with cremation to follow and inurnment at a later date. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel for visitation from 9-11:00 A.M. prior to service. Edith Lucille Flood, the daughter of Henry and Edith (Hand) Meeks, was born on December 8, 1952 in Kalispell, MT.

On April 1, 1969, Lucille was united in marriage to LaVern J. Flood Jr. in Winner, S.D.

Lucille worked in the Hospitality field and enjoyed painting ceramics, gardening, and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Lucille is survived by (5) sons: Leon Flood and wife Michelle, Aaron Flood, Brock Flood and wife Jessica Severson, Cameron Flood and Dustin Flood ; (2) daughters: Lisa Flood and husband Thomas Worcester and Monica Willette and husband Cody McClain; (14) grandchildren: Shyla Freeland and husband Justin, Jesalyn Draper, Joshua Draper, Alyssa Budka and husband Shawn, Arianna Higgins and Fiance' Asaf Trainin, Allissa Flood, LaDonna Flood, Steven Flood, Rachael Mendow and husband Chris, Haley Willette, Aramis Willette, Trae Flood, Dionna Aguas, Sierra Aguas and Ontonio Aguas; (8) great grandchildren: Olyvea, Addy and Ewan Freeland, Presley and Azden Budka, Chloe, Paige, and Phoenix Flood and numerous extended family members.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Edith Meeks and (1) son: Jamie Flood.
