Potter-Dix Coyotes Fall to Hyannis 33-24

Potter-Dix's Coyote Football team was defeated 33-to-24 by the Hyannis Longhorns Friday night at Combs field in wet and unseasonably cold conditions. At kickoff, the sun had already completely set and a rain that ranged from a drizzle to a fine mist challenged both teams ability to keep their footing and hold on to the ball.

The Coyotes first possession was cut short by a fumble by senior Donnie Moench, and Hyannis was able to capitalize by driving and scoring on a touchdown run to go up 7-to-0 early. The Coyotes were able to then put together a drive, but stalled on fourth down at the Long...
