Going a step up and competing against the Class B Scottsbluff Bearcats figured to be a challenge for the struggling Red Raiders, but the Scottsbluff squad left nothing to chance and scored early and often in a 59-to-0 rout of Sidney on Friday at Weymouth Field.
"They were who they thought they were, fast, physical, and very well coached. Sometimes you can surprise a good team like the Bearcats, but it wasn't meant to be Friday night", said Sidney Head Coach Chris Koozer.
