Table of Grace Seeks Community Support

October 23, 2019

For many families, the numbers just don't work. There is the struggle of school expenses for the children, proper clothes and the seasons change, and sometimes just keeping food in the cupboard.

Table of Grace offers options to help families in need.

According to statistics from 2018, Table of Grace has 362 households registered, serving 715 individuals, of whom 242 are children under the age of 19. Table of Grace also has a pantry in Oshkosh where 35 to 50 households are helped monthly. In addition, Table of Grace assists monthly pantries in Dalton and Kimball with produce, bread, meat and dairy. Once a month, Table of Grace takes food to the seniors at the Western Heritage Apartments and provides food to the families of children who attend The Ark at Sioux Villa.

Now is when the helper needs assistance. Bell Pole & Lumber is challenging the community with a matching grant in support of Table of Grace. Bell Pole & Lumber is one of the primary supporters of Table of Grace. Bell Pole & Lumber offers grants that keeps Table of Grace serving the communities. In addition to Bell Pole & Lumber, Table of Grace is supported by food product donations from Safeway and Walmart. Much of its food is purchased from local stores or from Foodbank of the Heartland in Omaha.

Bell Pole & Lumber is challenging the community to a $20,000 matching grant. Bell Pole & Lumber is encouraging Table of Grace to seek community support for its outreach. Bell Pole and Lumber is committed to matching up to $20,000 in donations for the program.
