Platte Valley Bank, Rezac Honored by 4-H

The Friend of 4-H Award recognizes a citizen or organization from the community whose leadership, actions, and support have contributed to the improvement and promotion of the Cheyenne County 4-H Program.

Platte Valley Bank was honored as the 2019 Friend of 4-H. Platte Valley Bank, formally American National Bank of Sidney, has clerked the livestock sale at fair for many years. They have graciously allowed their employees to work on sale items during company time, sponsored trophy awards, provided lunch for the Progressive Agriculture Second Grade Safety Day, and brought donuts and hot chocolate at beef weigh in.

The Heart of 4-H Award recognizes volunteers, 4-H supporters, organizations or companies who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and/or volunteer service to 4-H, have made a special contribution to the 4-H program, or provided a significant number of service hours to 4-H. This year Becky Rezac was honored as the Heart of 4-H recipient for all of the tireless hours she has worked to insure everything behind the scenes of our livestock sale runs smoothly.
