Sidney senior Karly Sylvester scores two of her 10 points in the Lady Raider's victory over Gering on Friday.
Sidney's Lady Raider basketball team continued their winning streak over the past week, downing Gering at home then traveling to McCook and defeating the Lady Bison.
Friday was Senior Night at Sidney High School, and a packed house came out to cheer the Lady Raiders on against their rivals from Gering. The first half had both teams playing good defense with long stretches of scoreless action, but the Lady Raiders were able to generate turnovers and score more consistently and opened a 30-to-20 lead at the half.
