Suicide Prevention Table Talks Start Jan. 30

The volunteers for The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention are going to begin setting up tables around the community to inform people about AFSP and other resources available.

The first AFSP table will be set up at Beans and Steams on Thursday January 30 from 10 a.m. -1 p.m.

Our message is to have a real conversation about mental health. These tabling “events” will be an opportunity for us to reduce the stigma of mental health. We will do this by having open conversations about it. Our goal is to offer resources and information free to the public to hopefully help those who may be suffering or know someone that is.
