Local author and Sun Telegraph columnist Dan Carlson on Sunday got good news from Amazon. His first novel, “Species Unknown”, broke into the top five best-sellers in Amazon’s Christian Fantasy category. It was ranked No. 4 on Sunday morning after nearly three weeks in the top ten. The achievement is noteworthy in that Carlson is a first-time novelist and “Species Unknown” is the only self-published book in the top five. Carlson calls the success of his book, “A dream come true.” It is available on Amazon in paperback and ebook formats.
