Bridge the Blue- Local residents showed their support for Law Enforcement with a Back the Blue event in Sidney July 18. The event was held at the sidewalk east of the Cheyenne County Courthouse with an estimated 40 people attending, waving flags and banners showing their support for law enforcerment. Toward the end of the event, a prayer of protection for law enforcement officers was recited following a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the line of duty, and people were invited to speak in support of police officers.
