Leyton’s Warrior Football team, after opening with five straight wins, was hit hard by injuries and limped through the remaining games on their schedule, losing all three to end their regular season record at 5-and-3. On Friday the Warriors hosted the Garden County Eagles, and fell behind early and were unable to recover, losing by a final score of 46-to-12. With the win, the Eagles clinched the D2-10 district title.
