Creek Valley Storm Competes at Paxton Invite

Creek Valley’s Storm Track and Field team traveled on

Thursday to compete at the Paxton Invite at Paxton High School. Out of 11 teams, the boy’s squad finished 10th, while out of 10 teams, the girls finished eighth.

For the boy’s squad, highlights included junior Lucas Trujillo placing fourth in the 400 Meters at 55.00, his best time of the season, the 4x100 Relay Team placing fourth, the 4x800 Meter Relay Team placing fifth, and senior Oakley Hodges placing fifth in the Shot Put and fourth in the Discus.

For the girls, senior Grace Greenwood placed fourth in the 100 Meter Hurdles and sixth in the 300 Meter Hurdles, sophomore Elizabeth Whiting placed fifth in the 300 Meter Hurdles. The 4x400 Meter Relay team placed fourth, the 4x100 Meter Relay team placed fifth and the 4x800 Meter Relay team placed sixth. Freshman Ella Whiting placed fourth in the High Jump to round out the scoring.

Creek Valley sent their qualifiers to the Best in the West Classic on Monday and are preparing for the Minuteman Activities Conference Meet on May 1st.
