Angels Take the Field

The Sidney Angels League had their first game on Tuesday, July 6 at Kiwanis Field, and a great turnout greeted the players in their first of four games, scheduled for every Tuesday in July at 6 pm at Kiwanis Field. The Sidney Angels League is a special needs baseball program for all individuals of all abilities. The League pairs special needs players with “buddies” who have volunteered to help and support these special individuals to get out on the field and play baseball. The Red and Blue teams competed and had an enjoyable afternoon, rooted on by friends, families and supporters. All are invited to cheer on the players every Tuesday night in July.
