Leyton juniors Gabriel Tretter and Axi Benish qualified for the NSAA Class D State Cross Country Meet, and competed on Friday in Kearney.

Tretter finished in 28th place with a time of 18:13.6 and Benish finished 105th with a time of 25:40.9. Both are impressive finishes for runners who qualified individually and not with a team, and both athletes look to be back next year and improve upon the work and success they had this year.
