Leyton's Lady Warrior Basketball team has had an up and down start to their season, with a close loss to the Kimball Lady Longhorns and then a win over Morrill. The Lady Warriors looked to keep their momentum going against South Platte over the weekend, but the Lady Blue Knights proved to be too much for the Lady Warriors and took the victory, 50-to-33.

South Platte was able to get good looks and jam up the middle in the first quarter to pull ahead with a 10 piont 17-to-7 lead, but Leyton was able to regroup and slow the South Platte scoring while making up some ground in the second period....
